  13. announced today that it will begin offering LANtastic 
  14. for Windows Starter Kits -- LANtastic Starter Kits 
  15. bundled with the LANtastic for Windows network utility 
  16. -- for an additional $100 over the cost of Artisoft's 
  17. regular LANtastic Starter Kits. Available immediately, 
  18. these kits offer $199 savings on the LANtastic for 
  19. Windows network utility which is available separately 
  20. for $299.

  22. The LANtastic for Windows Starter Kit includes two 
  23. Artisoft(TM) adapters, cabling and the newest versions 
  24. of the award-winning LANtastic Network Operating 
  25. System and LANtastic for Windows network utility. It 
  26. is available with the LANtastic AE-3(TM), AE-2(TM) and 
  27. A2Mbps(TM) Starter Kits.

  54. new features as the DOS-based LANtastic 4.1, but 
  55. within the easy, graphical user interface (GUI) of 
  56. Microsoft Windows' pull-down menus, icons and on-line 
  57. help. It supports Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) so that 
  58. Windows applications can use LANtastic e-mail to 
  59. exchange messages and transfer data. It runs with 
  60. LANtastic v4.0 and higher and Microsoft Windows v3.0 
  61. and higher.
